The District can serve a variety of roles in the provision of capital improvements within the District. It may initiate and fund smaller projects outright, or it may partner with other community groups to facilitate or enable larger projects. The District may provide, purchase, contract for, or implement services and improvements that contribute to the maintenance, sustainability, or expansion of District infrastructure or amenities, including but not limited to:
- trash and recycling receptacles
- bike racks
- street furniture
- flower urns or receptacles
- directional and informational signage
- banners and banner arms
- public art
- public facilities
- general plans and studies
- other infrastructure improvements or amenities deemed pertinent or necessary
